28mm Charging Chasseur à Cheval Wargames Foundry Conversion

 Hello Folks,

Well, here it is, finally done.  I actually want to tell you alot of things and share with all my frustrations while working on this figure, but for now, I can not think of anything to complaint.  Yeah... I'm not going to lie to you I am quite happy with it.  However this does not mean it could not be improved.  I made alot of compromise to make this figure complete.  Even though it seems like taking forever.

Right now, I just want to relax.  I hope you share my joy of completing a figure.  You know, you all know, what is like when you finish a long project.

So I'm not going to say much, please enjoy.  I sincerely hope you do.

Warm regards,

Ben

  9. Stunning..absolutely stunning. I´ve been looking at this now for 2 days. I´ve enlarged the pics on my PC..and it´s absolutely faultless. The horses eyes, the brasswork on the strap under the horse ..the worn leather effect on the strap under the horse. Even at 5 time magnification the I can´t imagine how you did the leopard skin saddle cloth.
Entered at any competition it would win in it´s class hands down.
    Cheers

  10. Well, Ben... no. I cannot tolerate that flaw with the cuffs. Nonono.

Muahaha - just kidding, man. That work justifies every hour of time you spent for it. You should go an win tons of awards with your work.

I really like the smootheness of the light/shadow effects. The whole composition looks very well balanced. It's amazing to see such a greatly done white horse - hope you might give me a tutorial how you've done that.

  12. Holy cow! I thought it was 54mm at first - then did a double-take, and it still unbelievable at 28mm. Incredibly beautiful and faithful to the famous painting. Absolutely fantastic. Dean
